On keeping the faith even in the midst of the striving, as something for me to refer to when I’m asked to share about my experiences, will translate this into a full-length, confidential article when I feel ready. Most importantly, a way for me to track my spiritual growth.
I haven’t really decided the format of how this should be like, but I think it is best organised in themes.
These thoughts are incredibly raw, and it does put me in a vulnerable position. But it’s fine!
September 13, 2022 What I want to keep doing even in the midst of this period of massive trial and hardship (in terms of mental fatigue, mental stress, etc) is to keep growing in Him, because at the end of the day that’s the only thing that matters.
I’ve been searching a long time for a phrase/ sentence/ clause to capture what this new chapter of my relationship with God has been, and it came in the form of a rap song that lay hidden in Trip Lee’s The Good Life Album, an album that has many hype/dope beats and one that I mainly listened to during uptempo runs.
But then I found New Dreams by Trip Lee - several verses spoke really cleanly to me.
But at a young age, saw that I had it wrong
